Commercial
Brand, product and workspace photography for small businesses in Knoxville, Oak Ridge, Maryville and the surrounding East Tennessee towns.
Commercial work grew out of my wedding clients asking for help with the businesses they run: a bakery that needed menu photos, a florist launching a website, a boutique that wanted its Instagram to look like its storefront. I bring the same approach I bring to a wedding day. Real light where possible, people who look like themselves, and images that feel like the place rather than like stock.
What I photograph for businesses
Brand sessions that show the owner and team at work, for websites, about pages and press. Product photography on location or against clean backgrounds, for shops, makers and online stores. Interiors and spaces for restaurants, salons, studios, venues and short-term rentals. Food and drink for menus and social channels. Headshots for teams, done on site so nobody has to take a half day off. Event coverage for openings, fundraisers and workshops.
How a commercial shoot works
We start with a short conversation about where the images will live, because a hero image for a website and a square crop for a feed are different photographs. I build a shot list from that, we agree on a date and a half-day or full-day booking, and I deliver an edited gallery sized for web and print. Most small businesses in the Knoxville, Oak Ridge and Maryville area are within my standard travel range; further afield is easy to arrange.
Usage and licensing
Commercial galleries come with a usage license that covers your own website, social channels, print materials and advertising. If you need images for a third party, a franchise or a national campaign, tell me up front and I will quote the license alongside the shoot. Pricing is by the half day or full day and is outlined on the investment page.
Questions about turnaround and file formats are answered in the FAQ. To book or ask about a project, use the contact page. You can also look at the portrait work, which is where most of my headshot clients start, or go back to the full portfolio.
